This platform has evolved through multiple design cycles since 2019, now featuring a high-speed directory architecture and AEO optimization to boost local businesses in the Okanagan Valley—offered entirely for free as a community digital hub.
THE DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE
Architecting a regional search engine requires a core capable of constant evolution. The challenge was to maintain a lightweight, scalable database that supports thousands of listings while transitioning to a fully free community model. We focused on re-engineering the search logic for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), ensuring businesses in the valley are discoverable not only through Google but through the next generation of AI-driven search models.
